Happy Sunday All! 

Only a couple more weeks until the reason for the season. We pray that you all have a wonderful and safe holiday!

This week in Sunday School Pastor Beard brought the lesson from 2 Samuel 9:1-7, 9-12; The Mercy of Justice. Key Verse:

And David said, "Is there yet any that is left of the house of Saul, That I may shew him kindness for Jonathan's Sake?   --2 Samuel 9:1

THINK ABOUT IT: David reaches out, finds, and then cares for Mephibosheth. In today's world, we would call this nepotism. Is there merit to showing kindness because of a relationship with a parent or grandparent? Is it okay if the recipient is able to return some benefit to the giver and/or his or her endeavors?
