Happy Monday all!

Minister Lewis brought a great Sunday School lesson on Unbiased Actions from Exodus 23:1-12.

Key Verse: Thou shalt not follow multitude to do evil; neither shalt though speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgement: Neither shalt thou countenance a poor man in his cause. --Exodus 23:2-3

THINK ABOUT IT: In our world we expect justice to be administered by the courts, the legal system. However, often times it seems as if justice is relegated only to people of means. In our lesson, God prohibits this evil by commanding justice to be the rule of the day for all people. This suggests that as a christian, the spiritual descendants of Israel, we too must be centered on justice and justice seeking.

In Service, Pastor Beard brought a message of hope from Romans 8:24-25; 5:1-5.
And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His love. --Romans 5:5
