Happy Monday All!
I just want to share a quick prayer over all of those that have been affected by COVID or currently have a loved one that is fighting it now.
Lord,
I love you. I come to you on bended knee, and with an open heart to say thank you. Thank you for keeping me, and guiding me, and loving me. As I thank you for all you have done, I pray that you keep those that we love in the grasp of your protection. I pray for healing hands, for those that are recovering, and I pray for protecting hands for though that have been learning to navigate this new life that we are living. I pray that you stay with us, and keep us safe from all hurt, harm, and danger. In Jesus Name, AMEN.
In Sunday School, Bro. Chris Lewis lead the lesson on, Incorruptible Leaders from Deuteronomy 16: 18-20; 17:8-13.
Key Verse: Judges and officers shalt thou make thee in all thy gates, which the Lord thy God giveth thee, throughout thy tribes: and they shall judge the people with just judgement. --Deuteronomy 16:18
THINK ABOUT IT: There are books that give step-by-step instructions for budding artists to learn how to draw complex pictures. If one follows the directions, regardless of artistic aptitude, in the end a beautiful picture emerges. In our lesson today, God gives Israel a step-by-step way of establishing justice. If we follow it we can too emerge with a masterpiece---A justice centered society.
