Easter Sunday April 17, 2022
Happy Sunday all, He is RISEN!
Thank you for those of you that joined us on this wonderful Easter Sunday. We had a great time worshipping with you all.
Rev. Lewis brought the Sunday School lesson from Matthew 28:1-10 on The Eternal Hope.
“Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.”--Matthew 28:10, Key Verse
THINK ABOUT IT: We mourn the death of our loved ones, and in many cases, we never get over it. In some instances, people have failed to accept the death of a parent or child, sealing them in their rooms rather than calling and reporting their death to the authorities. The power and finality of death can reduce the mentality and rationale of a person and nearly drive them to a loss of sanity. Mourning takes on many forms and is exhibited by people differently. However, Christians must never forget that although death occurs, believers may be absent from the body but are always present with the Lord.
Rev Lorraine Beard brought the Easter sermon from Matthew 27.
