Happy Monday! 

As we are wrapping up July (how already) I pray that the Lord is doing big things in your life! 

    Minister Lewis lead us through the lesson on Sunday, Seeking Assurance from Romans 4:1-12. We learned that it is impossible to impress God with our good works, however, we will be rewarded for them! Just as Abraham was declared righteous for his faith in God, we will too be declared righteous by our faith if we continue to choose to practice every single day.

Key verse: For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.--Romans 4:3

 Pastor Beard continued the conversation about Faith in his sermon from Hebrews 11:1-3. 

    Now faith is the reality of what is hoped for, the proof of what is not seen. -Heb. 11:1
