Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!
Last week we started our Sunday off studying No Insignificant Witnesses out of John 4. I think that the Remember It portion of our lesson said it best, "Regardless if who you are or have been, there is a role for all of us to carry out for the Kingdom. Like the woman at the well, we must be willing to expose ourselves in His presence, to discover our role. Even as it would seem that her voice would be easy to ignore, she was s witness in her village. She was beyond grateful for her chance to encounter with Jesus, and made sure that others got the opportunity to experience His grace. There are moments when we may feel our witness is not enough based on who we have been, there are no insignificant witnesses."
Pastor Beard followed Sunday School speaking on a Divine Light From God from John 1:1-9.
"In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. That light shines in the darkness, and yet the darkness did not overcome it. 6. There was a man sent from God whose name was John. He came as a witness to testify about the light, so that all might believe through him. He was not the light, but he came to testify about the light. The true light that gives light to everyone, was coming into the world." John 1:4-9
