Happy Monday Everyone!
It is my goal from now on to post every Monday while Sunday is still fresh on our minds as we meditate on it through of the week. For those of you down South, we are still diligently praying for your healing and safety during this difficult that season you are going through.
Sunday, we studied a difficult lesson about Risk Taker, out of Acts 18:1-3, 18-21, 24-26 and Romans 16:3-4. Minister Lewis lead us through the relationship between Paul, and Pricilla and Aquila, and how they risked their lives to fulfill their mission given by the Lord and for Paul.
Greet Pricilla and Aquila, who work with me in Christ Jesus, and who risk their necks for my life, to whom not only I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles.
(Romans 16:3-4)
Sis. Lewis did a wonderful job summing up the lesson in her comments, "The more that we study and understand the word, the more equipped become and the less risk that we take in our daily walk."
Think About It:
While there is no reward without risk, for believers our risk is consumed by our faith. In what sense does your faith consume the risks inherent in your life?

Pastor Beard brought a message from 1 Peter 5:10, Overcoming Your Fear in Jesus. He spoke about overcoming your fears because God gives us the tools to adapt to whatever season comes your way. It seems as if this season we are in, we are having to constantly adapt to everything that is coming at us. I can't help but feel that Jesus is only calling us to come closer and closer to him. Let us not be afraid because He does not give us a spirit of fear, but of Power, Love, and of Sound Mind.
